With most emotional dramas the establishing shots go on for a longer period of time and may be of a complete city or extraordinary view, but obviously with time and budget not on our side we decided to opt for a much simpler establishing shot; one which will involve the audience in ‘Lily’s’ illness immediantly. The camera pans from right to left to show the amount of medication ‘Lily’ has to endure.
